Good Man, Billy …
Def Leppard’s frontman Joe Elliot joined Billy Joel to perform the Def’s1987 classic “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” during Billy’s August 10 show at Boston’s Fenway Park.
Boston’s Fenway Park is the same venue that Def Leppard will perform the next day as they start the third leg of their North American tour co-headlining with Journey.
“We’re going to bring out another special guest tonight,” Joel introducing Elliott to the crowd. “This is a guy who’s in a band that’s gonna be here tomorrow night… Please welcome Joe Elliot from Def Leppard”
Joe Elliott sang the lead for “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” and was joined by the crowd.
This is not the first time that Billy had other rock frontmen perform their own songs with him and his band in recent years, this includes both Brian Johnson and Axl Rose playing some songs from AC/DC and Guns N’ Roses.
