Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, along with Paul McCartney, and Elton John are just a few of the musicians on a lineup curated by Lady Gaga in collaboration with Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO) for the upcoming global broadcast and benefit One World: Together At Home. The special will air on ABC, CBS & NBC hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert on April 18.
The special event will also feature appearances and performances from Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Finneas, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, and Stevie Wonder.
Lady Gaga confirmed that they managed to $35 million over the past seven days to support the battle against the global pandemic. Proceeds from One World: Together At Home will go towards the WHO (World Health Organization) and “to support frontline healthcare workers.”
“It is so important to think globally and support the World Health Organization to curb the pandemic and prevent future outbreaks,” she said. “We want to highlight the gravity of this historical, unprecedented, and cultural movement.”
