Eric “Slowhand” Clapton recently released a video for his latest track “For Love On Christmas Day” from his 2018 album “Happy X-Mas.”
He also issued a limited-edition 12″ white vinyl version of the song during the Record Store Day Black Friday; the original track on his twenty-first solo studio album, which featured a mix of seasonal standards.
“Happy X-Mas” peaked at No.1 on the U.S. Holiday Album chart during its initial release last fall.
On related news, Eric Clapton will headline a tribute concert to honor his former colleague from Cream, Ginger Baker who passed away last October, at the age of 80; the February 17 show will be held at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in London.
Clapton will also follow with a month-long European tour after the tribute show and will open up in Prague, Czech Republic in late May.
