John Fogerty posted another installment in his series of performance videos on his official YouTube channel featuring the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman performing tunes from his back catalog with the family.
The newest clip highlights John rolling out with sons Shane and Tyler, and daughter Kelsy — acknowledged collectively as Fogerty’s Factory — on a live version of his 1997 single “Hot Rod Heart.” While most of the previous clips have highlighted Fogerty and his family members performing in different places in and around his Southern California residence, the new video seems to have been filmed on a deserted road.
The clip starts with the picture of a Dodge Charger with a Virginia license plate that reads “CCR 69” shrieking its tires as it races away from the camera. We then view Fogerty and his kids set up in the center of a roadway with a vintage convertible and three sports vehicles parked behind them.
“Hot Rod Heart” was highlighted on Fogerty’s Grammy Award winner for Best Rock Album in 1998, Blue Moon Swamp album.
