New treats from Judas Priest!
An official lyric video for the standout track “Never the Heroes” from Judas Priest’s brand new album Firepower has been unveiled on March 2nd ahead of their upcoming album release. The band reveals that the song is “about the courageous men and women that enter war – never trained to be heroes but becoming heroic due to their actions and sacrifices doing their duty for their people and country. It resonates as there is a hero in all of us and in times of struggle we can be strong and united – conquering our own challenges and helping others – it’s a traditional Priest mid-tempo powerhouse, with a powerful message!”
Their new album Firepower is set to be released on March 9th, 2018 via Epic Records. The album includes fourteen tracks of “pure and highly inspired metal”. The band also reunited with Tom Allom (who was producer for Judas Priest classics such as Unleashed in the East, British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance and Defenders of the Faith) and Grammy Award-winning producer Andy Sneap in the making of this new album.
More treats abound as Judas Priest announces they will be signing copies of their brand new album at the Sony Square in New York City on March 19th at 6PM.
Judas Priest is set to tour starting March 13th in Pennsylvania up until May 1st in Texas.
