Haters Gonna Hate

During The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last October 30, KISS wowed the audience by performing their classic hit “Love Gun.” You can hate them all you want but the fact of the matter is, these guys can still fill stadiums and make people buy whatever they’re selling even if it’s a beer pong table, Christmas ornaments or coffin. They may have haters but they’re still laughing all the way to the bank.

Early next year, KISS will embark on their farewell tour “End Of The Road World.” The lineup will feature Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer.

“This time out is far beyond what we have done before, not just because of technology. It is because the meaning of this tour is so, so great because we have been an indelible part of people’s lives, but guess what — people have been an indelible part of our lives. A thank you is in order, but also one last time to live up to what everybody says we have been and what we are.” – Paul Stanley

The tour will kick off on January 31 in Vancouver, British Columbia and end on December 3 in Auckland, New Zealand. And when asked if it will feature any former members like Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, Paul replied:

“This will be a celebration of KISS and not any individual lineup or any individual members. I wouldn’t rule anything out.”

We’re hoping they will feature Frehley and Criss. After all, that would be a spectacular way to end the tour and it will surely delight all their other fans. That would be absolutely fitting as their final hurrah.

“When we introduce ourselves for 45 years with you, [you] wanted the best, you got the best, the hottest band in the world. The bar is very high, maybe the highest. We’re in competition only with ourselves.” – Gene Simmons
