And That’s How You Do Covers.
Limp Bizkit surely nailed a Nirvana song, and with a powerful force in their sides: Marilyn Manson, Billy Corgan, and Machine Gun Kelly.
During their original lineup reunion show in Los Angeles last night, Limp Bizkit, and all of those squad were present and did a Nirvana cover and several cover as well.
Marilyn Manson and Billy Corgan can be seen hanging out and watching the show from behind. Fred Durst then came to them, and called them as “real songwriters,” and got Manson to sing along with him with the song “My Way” and a cover of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box.”
“Mr. Manson went to the dentist today,” he added. “Let’s take it easy on him.”
The rapper Machine Gun Kelly also showed up to do “My Generation.” Limp Bizkit then covered George Michael’s “Faith” and played a medley of Green Day’s “Brain Stew,” Pantera’s “Mouth For War,” Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls.”
The concert was a hell of show indeed. And that’s just made it sad not to see it in person.
