Some prefer John Lennon or Paul McCartney, but to be honest, the Beatles would not have been the same without their four members.

Each contributed their talent and sound to this band, and together they created dozens of hits during the 1960s. While each member was more comfortable with certain instruments, they all loved to sing. Yes, everyone: Lennon, McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were the lead vocals on several songs.

The song “Something,” Harrison and McCartney lent their voice with, especially rich melodies. A recently issued tape exhibits what their voices sound like in isolation, with no instrumentals.

You can hear Harrison sing the famous lyrics to the song “Something in the way she moves” with great clarity. McCartney then accompanies Harrison in various parts of the melody singing along with him in harmony. Both Beatles sound particularly powerful in this song; you can really hear the emotion in their voices.
