Axl Rose may be Mr. Goody Two Shoes now but once upon a time especially at the height of his career, he was a douchebag. He’s a ticking time bomb, he could go off anytime even without any trigger. And while he and Slash are now great pals, they also had their fair share of beefs.
Besides, it says a lot if your own bandmate can’t stand you. And Axl Rose has had more rivalries than you can count. Keep in mind that this list is for musicians only so we’re not including the likes of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger who got into a fistfight with Rose.

When Holland ripped off the Chinese Democracy title for their next album, Axl Rose retaliated by sending his lawyers.
Vince Neil
It all began with Neil hitting Izzy Stradlin during the MTV VMAs and of course Rose had to get involved so he challenged Neil to a fight and the latter accepted. Fortunately, that was all there is to it.
Eagles of Death Metal
They were supposed to be openers for Guns ‘n Roses in 2006 but were met with indifference from the crowd. So Axl Rose came up on stage and said, “So how’d you like the Pigeons of Sh– Metal? Don’t worry, that’s the last show they’re playing with us.”

Axl Rose called Weiland a “fraud” and in turn, Weiland referred to him as a “fat, botox-faced, wig-wearin’ f**k.”
Metallica
When asked who his favorite cartoon characters were, Axl Rose said “Metallica and Slash.” James Hetfield was then quoted saying, “They’re a different type of band – and I use the word band loosely. It’s a guy and some other guys.”

Axl Rose when he opened for Alice Cooper said that “Bon Jovi can suck my d**k.” Bon Jovi then commented about how much press Rose was getting even though he hasn’t released a new album for over a decade.

After asking him if he’d like to be Frances Bean’s godfather, Axl Rose called her a “bitch.”
Kurt Cobain and Nirvana
When he called Courtney Love a “bitch,” he was actually saying it to Kurt Cobain. And Axl Rose even had the gall to challenge Cobain to a fight. And the entire time, Cobain was holding his baby in his arms.
