Joy Division is a band with a short track record and overwhelming success as well as deserved. Four years, the legendary band from Manchester, England, laid the foundations for post-punk with just two albums: Unknown Pleasures (1979) and Closer (1980) it was a great group, active between 1976 and 1980, in which their composing brain predominated. This was none other than Ian Curtis but he decided to leave life at 23 years old.
His lyrics had an important weight of pessimism and his way of composing has created a school. We will never know where his creativity would have gone had he lived longer.
