Framptons’ 1975 tour was in support of Frampton’s self-titled fourth studio album, which highlighted tracks like “Show Me The Way” and “Baby, I Love Your Way.” The project was sweetening off, as “Frampton” displayed his first hit record in North America, reaching Top 40 and gaining gold status.
Despite “Frampton Comes Alive” wasn’t released until January of ’76, it was the highlight of the ’75 experience.
Luckily, piece of the ’75 Frampton’ experience was filmed live for The Midnight Special, which captured the group in full effort. Frampton was highlighted on two separate MS episodes, one in September and in December.
The amazing thing about The Midnight Special was the way it was produced, it allowed musicians to perform their original material in its fullness. You can check out the full-length version of “Do You Feel Like We Do” below, and experience the ’75 Frampton.
