These are some of the best classic live private recording made by fans and audiences. Some of these rare bootlegs are the only documents of the work of these rock legends – some even have not official recordings exist.

Hendrix doesn’t care about his bootleg recordings – all he cares about was him playing his ax, and that’s what he did.

Dylan’s famous May 1966 show at the Manchester Free Trade Hall, and one of the crowd called him Judas.
