Nothing More Awesome When Legends Collab!
It’s exciting to watch when we see two or more of our favorite rock legends get together to create something beautiful.
Collaborations are always common in the history of music and have been around for a long time – still nothing can beat the best of the best – the classic rock greatest alliances.
1. David Bowie and Queen “Under Pressure”

Written and recorded as a collaboration with David Bowie in 1981 and was included in their 1982 album Hot Space. This collaboration between two legends reached the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart and became their second number one hit in the UK.
2. Mick Jagger and David Bowie “Dancing In The Street”
The song was originally written by Marvin Gaye – and has been covered and performed by several artists such as Motown, Martha and the Vandellas, and Van Halen, but it was the cover of David Bowie and Mick Jagger that took the song to greatness, at the number one spot.
3. George Harrison and Eric Clapton “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”

George Harrison wrote the song for the Beatles’ 1968 White Album, which includes a solo part played by Eric Clapton, which was not formally credited for his contribution for the track.
When they had the chance to play it live, the version included other legends such as Ringo Star, Elton John, and Phil Collins.
4. Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around”
Stevie Nicks first single from her 1981 solo album Bella Donna and was not written by Nicks but by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers – A&R mogul Jimmy Iovine suggested that Stevie should sing on the track.
5. Neil Young and Pearl Jam “Rockin’ In The Free World”
Pearl Jam brought a surprise for the crowd when they invited Neil Young to play his song “Rockin’ In The Free World” and managed to light up the crowd at the 1993 VMAs.
