So many albums were released back in the 80’s but none of them have captured our hearts and the classic rock soul inside of us. The 80’s was one of the golden eras of classic rock and looking back we came up with this list of the “Top 10 Most Important Albums of the 80s.”

10. Ride the Lighting – Metallica

With Cliff Burton on the bass, the atmosphere on this album creates an absolute badass feeling. There’s no other Metallica album will ever be intense such as this one. You just know that they will take over!

 

9. 1984 – Van Halen

Van Halen’s album that has some of the greatest songs: Top Jimmy, House Of Pain, I’ll Wait, Jump, Panama, Drop Dead Legs, Girls Gone Bad And Hot For Teacher. Is there anything else? Well, I guess that’s all of them. Such an awesome album!

You would all certainly agree without hesitation that it is among their very best.

The album that defines the 80’s. It’s hard not to include this on the list.

 

5. Appetite For Destruction – Guns N Roses

Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child O mine, etc. Name it all. All of these are huge songs that have come off with this one album. We have heard all of these twice or more in our lives.

A record that is timeless, and it sounds like that it could have been released today.

Rock N’ Roll legends height of fame, every track on this record was a hit, and it sold over 42 million copies worldwide! Released in 1980, so it started the decade with a bang!

The record packed with an absolute brilliance which makes each and every listen to a new experience of excitement.

It doesn’t matter what you say about Prince, but this record was the real masterpiece of the 80’s. Prince was nothing but a true artist.
