Update: 2019 Woodstock Lineup- Some Choices Are Very Questionable

Facebook / Woodstock

Just an opinion. But, some of these acts are questionable. Were there not enough famous enough bands willing to book that would fit the “Woodstock” culture out there? Is it all about marketing now, to attract young ones over?

Jay Z As The Finale?

Oh man. Great hip hop artist and possibly one of the best of all time, but, c’mon. There are still so many ways we could have had the best closing act. His genre is so far away from rock, but it’s all to draw in ticket sales.

Santana Going On Before Miley Cyrus?

Miley Cyrus is great. She has had some big songs like “Party In The U.S.A.”. But for Woodstock? Hmm. And to have Santana go on before her? That honestly should be a sin. He was one of the original acts of Woostock! Remember that Soul Sacrifice performance? One of the most iconic of all time.

Whoa, what happened to Akon? He was hot back in the 2000’s. But a fit for Woodstock? Not too sure about that. Maybe if he brings some soft rock vibes in.

Chance The Rapper Gets A Pass

Ok, we know when you think “Woodstock” rap acts don’t typically come to mind. But Chance gets a pass. Dude has been able to win a grammy without a record deal and totally independent. That’s art.

Red = questionable choice             Green = should be ranked higher
