Metallica released a video of a full concert from their 2016 club show at House Of Vans in London as the latest installment for their weekly series “Metallica Mondays.”
The concert took place at the venue the same date the group released their tenth album, “Hardwired… To Self Destruct” on November 18, 2016, which was also’s Kirk Hammett’s 54th birthday.
“The release day eight years in the making!!,” said Metallica when announcing the show. “And what better way to celebrate than a live show for Fifth Members and winners who register via the House Of Vans site at the very intimate and exclusive London House Of Vans! All the lucky winners will be asked to make a £20 donation at the door to benefit The Railway Children, who assist children who live alone and at risk on the streets in the UK, India and East Africa. The band’s tenth studio album “Hardwired… To Self Destruct” was produced by Greg Fidelman, James Hetfield, and Lars Ulrich.
