Musicians of different generations gathered to say goodbye to Shea Stadium, New York with a great concert.

Singer Billy Joel held a moving farewell concert for Shea Stadium, in an electrifying show with full capacity in the same baseball park where the Beatles established a new era in rock and roll five decades ago.

The musician was joined by several friends on stage, including Paul McCartney, who went full circle during his performance.

The concert occurred five decades after the legendary Beatles show, the first-ever concert in the baseball park.

A concert that took place at the climax of the so-called “Beatlemania” and demonstrated the growing power of rock and roll and the Beatles: 55,000 fans screaming in a sports park in the United States was something unheard at that time, and the show gave the “Fabulous Four” even more prestige among the American audience.

McCartney came out at the end and performed ‘I Saw Her Standing There,’ accompanied by guitar, and ‘Let It Be,’ on piano, the last tune of the night. Joel sat on the piano and did the second voice.
