What A Performance!
It’s not easy taking on the role of Freddie Mercury. As an artist, he was larger than life. And his contribution to music in general is invaluable. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is just one of his epic masterpieces that helped solidify his spot in the rock ‘n roll pantheon.
And so to say that actor Rami Malek had big shoes to fill would be a gross understatement. It was more than looking or moving like Freddie, there was something about Rami that gave you authentic Freddie vibes. Perhaps that’s why most people who saw the first official trailer had major goosebumps. Rami was clearly born to play this part.

As expected, the film topped the international box office with $72.5 million! In the United Kingdom alone, it became one of the greatest debuts of all time. It received generally positive reviews from both critics and viewers but hey, you can’t make everyone happy so there will always be that one person left unimpressed.

This is also a game-changer for Rami Malek because the biopic clearly showcased his acting skills. More than that, it definitely took a lot of dedication and focus to be able to pull off something as spectacular as this. We’re pretty sure Freddie is smiling down from heaven and beaming with pride.
