Bohemian Rhapsody is a biopic drama film starring Emmy-winning Mr. Robot actor Rami Malek. The film focuses on the 15-year period from the formation of the band Queen and frontman Freddie Mercury up to their performance at Live Aid in 1985.
Written by Anthony McCarten, the film will also star Gwilym Lee as guitarist Brian May, Ben Hardy as drummer Roger Taylor, Joseph Mazzello as bassist John Deacon, Lucy Boynton, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech, and Mike Myers in supporting roles.
The film was under the direction of Bryan Singer in September 2017, but after months of filming, Singer was fired for being absent from the production on multiple occasions and clashing with the cast and crew. Shortly after, Dexter Fletcher was hired to finish the film and post-production.

Freddie Mercury was definitely one of the most iconic lead singers in the history of Rock N’ Roll. The talk of his biopic film persisted for almost a decade now prior to it being formally announced. The biopic film will definitely be an excellent one. It will certainly give its audiences an insight into the origins, history, struggles, and the success of the band.
