Pink Floyd Was Never The Archetypal Of Prog Rock

Most rock fans know that Pink Floyd was the one who sets the prog rock revolution, but it can be equally a compelling case for King Crimson.

King Crimson was always progressive and never did they get out of their comfort zone. From their debut album, that remains the stepping stone of progressive rock, to their four decades career in making the music that we also love. Their debut, In the Court of the Crimson King, remains the purest and perfect expression of the prog-rock. It was the one who inspired the genre, that led to something of a revolution: after its release, nothing was quite the same.
