Classic Rock Goes Pop!
Who would have thought a “POPSTAR” can nail a Fleetwood Mac classic. Yup, that’s right. A pop artist stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to do a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.”
Harry Styles and his band did a brilliant rendition of one of the iconic songs of Fleetwood Mac from the album “Rumours.”
If you remember, “The Chain” featured Lindsey Buckingham on lead vocals while Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie backing him up with gracious harmonies. Harry Styles and his band did it with ease with the help from the band, – his keyboard player, Clare Ushima, and drummer, Sarah Jones, both added some vocal layers to achieve the similar sound of the original song.
During an interview with The Rolling Stone Magazine, he shared that his father, Desmond, raised him on classic rock music on the likes of Fleetwood Mac.
Check the video below, and be amazed at how brilliant the cover was.
